Earliest political memory #112

When I was in primary school aged 8 or 9 my parents had to sit me down and explain that I had to start wearing a shift to the swimming pool and the beach, even though my twin brother didn’t. I wasn’t even close to puberty, had literally nothing to hide under a shirt, It made me so angry and I always got into trouble for getting ‘naked’ in public, even when it was 40°C and my brother was allowed.
